The bookmarks are available in two versions:
- Arabica Black - made with coffee grounds
- Cafea Silverskin - made with coffee bean silverskin
The coffee grounds used to make the Arabica Black version are collected in the Netherlands through our Coffee Recycle Service. This way we prevent the coffee grounds from ending up in the waste. Not only coffee grounds are a waste stream from the coffee industry, but also the silver membranes, a layer that comes off the coffee bean during the roasting process. To prevent this valuable material from being lost, Coffee Based recycles it into silver coffee plates from which, among other things, these bookmarks are made.
