The Netherlands still wastes too much, while resources are becoming increasingly scarce worldwide. Things can—and must—be done differently. That is why Coffee Based is proud to announce that, together with 48 other businesses and organisations, we have joined forces in the Dutch Association for the Circular Economy (NVCE).
As a member of the NVCE, we believe that a circular economy is not only vital for the planet, but also for the economic and geopolitical resilience of the Netherlands. We actively support reuse, recycling, product life extension and sharing models, and we encourage policymakers to recognise and support these efforts.
🗣️ Our goal? To create one strong voice for the circular economy. No more double VAT on reused products. No unfair competition from low-cost virgin materials. Instead, we advocate for policies that empower circular businesses and accelerate the transition to a circular economy.
As State Secretary Chris Jansen said, “We are going to have to help each other.” That is exactly the spirit behind the NVCE. Together, we are making the circular economy more visible, bringing it to the political agenda and ensuring that entrepreneurs are heard.
A strong economy is circular. A strong business is too.
